Hilda Printz, 86, Stevens Point, formerly of Amherst Junction, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst with the Rev. Robert Pedretti officiating. Burial will be in St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the services. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established.
Mrs. Printz was born Nov. 15, 1913, in Marathon, a daughter of Peter and Maria (Murr) Hornung.
She was married to William W. Printz Sr. in 1934 in Wausau. He died Oct. 29, 1990.
She was a cook in public schools and a homemaker.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Amherst.
Survivors include four sons, James (Rita), Eau Claire, William (Bernie), Sunnyvale, Calif., Richard (Liz), Neenah, and Robert, Amherst; one brother, Albin (Mary Ann) Hornung; seven sisters, Gertie (Rudy) Lang, Florence (Ray) Kage, Irene (Florian) Sekorski, Lorraine (Arnold) Krautkromer, Joan (Mark) Boehm, Helen Kummerow and Viola Lambert; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
