Dorothy “Dottie” Niekamp, 74, St. Henry, Ohio, mother of two Stevens Point men, died Thursday, July 6, 2000, at The Gardens in St. Henry, Ohio.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Henry Church in St. Henry. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. A wake service will be held at the funeral home at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Niekamp was born April 3, 1926, in Wausau, a daughter of the late Nick and Iva (Bently) Rutkowski.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; nine sons, Bob (Ginny) and Jack (Becky), both of Stevens Point, Mike (Barb) and Joe (Cheryl), both of St. Henry, Ohio, Pat (Mary), Fort Recovery, Ohio, Ron (Doris), Findlay, Ohio, Tom (Janice), Centerville, Ohio, Paul Jr. (Judy), West Bend, and Tim (Debbie), Palmer, Alaska; five sisters, Pat (Ed) Bleyer, Stevens Point, Marge Montgomery, White Lake, Lorraine (Ben) Tuskowski, Custer, Carol (Herb) Zick, Rosholt, and Arlene (Vern) Gronewold, Wasilla, Alaska; four brothers, Charles (Arlene) Rutkowski and Irv Rutkowski, both of Rosholt, and Harold (Anne) Rutkowski and Ralph Rutkowski, both of Custer; 37 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
