Darwin K. Gasch, 57, Wisconsin Rapids, brother of a Plover woman, died early Friday morning, July 21, 2000, at House of the Dove in Marshfield.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Seneca Corners with Pastor Timothy Wenger officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. Gasch was born June 15, 1943, a son of Irene (Wagner) Gasch and the late Henry Gasch. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.
He was married to Brenda Backlund on Sept. 1, 1973, in Wakefield, Mich.
He worked at a Park Falls printing firm from 1973 until 1989, when he to work as an offset pressman at Fey Publishing in Wisconsin Rapids until his retirement due to ill health in March 1999.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lynn and Jennifer Gasch, both of Sheboygan; one son, Timothy, Wisconsin Rapids; his mother, Wisconsin Rapids; five brothers, Don (Marlene), Wisconsin Rapids, Jerry (Martha), Folson, Calif., Richard (Ginger), Lompoc, Calif., Bruce (Starr), Whitefish, Mont., and Larry, Black River Falls; five sisters, Lois (Leonard) Thorstenson, Plover, Pat (Dan) Wojtczak, Neillsville, Leota (Jim) Staples, Mankato, Minn., Nancy (Ken) Ubinger, Wisconsin Rapids, and Janice (Reed) Andrew, Portage; and five grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth.
