Clarence D. Zblewski, 83, Oshkosh, a town of New Hope native, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Oshkosh with the Rev. John Becker officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Oshkosh.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Poklasny Funeral Home in Oshkosh and from 9 a.m. Monday at the church until the services. There will be a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Zblewski was born Dec. 2, 1916, in the town of New Hope, a son of the late Roman and Martha (Mager) Zblewski.
He was married to Martha Meronk at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher on Feb. 11, 1939.
He worked at Rockwell International in Oshkosh until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Sallie (Bob) Linke, Wausau, and Nancy Helke, Sylvia (Harold) Fisher and Violet (Wayne) Hinz, all of Oshkosh; two sisters, Mae Peplinski and Elsie Hytry, both of Stevens Point; one brother, Roman (Delores) Zblewski, Hatley; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers, Ambrose, Jerome, Ernest, Ben, Domonic and Valfred; three sisters, Regina Sroda, Sallie Baron and Sophie Ebel; and one infant great-granddaughter.
