O. Ronald Lueck, 71, Wild Rose, a town of Buena Vista resident, died Sunday, June 25, 2000, at the Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wild Rose with the Rev. Arthur Senn officiating, assisted by the Rev. Dwayne Lueck. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in the town of Belmont in Portage County.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose.
A memorial has been established in his name.
Mr. Lueck was born April 1, 1929, in the town of Buena Vista, a son of the late Arthur and Amanda (Heller) Lueck. He graduated from Almond High School in 1946.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was married to Eleanor Bannach on Sept. 10, 1955, in Plover. She died Jan. 31, 1981.
He was married Glendolyn “Glennie” (Powell) Reinke on July 8, 1983, in Wild Rose.
He was a truck driver for Caves Trucking for over 26 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Denise Toney, Berlin, and Karen (Mark Land) Lueck, Oshkosh; four stepdaughters, Janette (Greg) LeGault, Gurney, Lorrie (Steve) Savage, Appleton, and Vickie (Greg) Sage and Patti (David) Williams, both of Wild Rose; one sister, Lenora (Elwin) Fletcher, Wisconsin Rapids; two grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Harvey, Harold, Elmer, Gilmore and Lloyd; and one sister, Dorothy.
