Lillian Agnes Knutson, 91, Starbuck, Minn., mother of the senior pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck, Minn.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the East Zion Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the services.
Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Knutson was born Feb. 9, 1909, near Glenwood, Minn., a daughter of the late Hans and Hilda (Jacobson) Hagen.
She was married to Fred Knutson in 1936 and they farmed near Starbuck. He died in December 1967.
In 1968 she moved to Starbuck and worked at Starbuck School and Samuelson’s Drug Store.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Kenneth (Judy) Knutson, Stevens Point, and Lyle (Patty), New London; four daughters, Ardis (Curtis) Wenstrand, Mount Prospect, Ill., Phyllis (Don) Severson, Mesa, Ariz., Ann (Curt) Rotto, Fergus Falls, Minn., and Linda (Paul) Strand, Plymouth, Minn.; 22 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Harold; three sisters and five brothers.
