Leonard A. Skrzeczkoski, 66, 2242 Highway 34 S., Junction City, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in the emergency room at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Junction City with the Rev. John A. Wisneski officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home in Junction City and at the church Saturday before the services. A St. Michael Parish rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Skrzeczkoski was born April 15, 1934, in the town of Eau Pleine, a son of Magdalen (Mallek) Skrzeczkoski, Junction City, and the late Chester Skrzeczkoski Sr.
He was married to Lucy D. Jazdzewski on May 13, 1959, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton.
He owned and operated Skrzeczkoski Construction with his wife and sons. He also farmed in the town of Carson for 37 years on the homestead after purchasing it from his parents in 1965.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Jerome “Jerry,” Jeffrey and Ronald (Bobbi Jo), all of Junction City, Dale (Mary) and Roy (Amy), both of Stevens Point; four daughters, Cynthia (Tim) Grezinski, Junction City, Lynn (Michael) Richardson, Rudolph, and Janet (Randolph) Plier and Kristine Skrzeczkoski, both of Stevens Point; his mother, Junction City; two brothers, Roman and Chester Jr. (Irene), both of Junction City; and 14 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Harold.
