Josephine Hlavka, 89, 149 S. Maple Road, town of Carson, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at River Pines Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek with the Rev. Dan Kozlowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery and Mausoleum in Chicago, Ill.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. Friday at the church until the services. A general rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Hlavka was born May 28, 1911, in the town of Carson, a daughter of the late Mike and Anna (Zielinski) Rajkowski.
She was married to Frank Hlavka in Chicago, Ill. The couple settled in Chicago. He died in 1977.
She moved to the town of Carson in 1981.
Survivors include one half-sister, Rita Slowinski, town of Carson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joe Rajkowski, and two sisters, Rose Green and Martha Cook.
