John H. Prutz, 90, Friendship Manor, Plover, died there Sunday, June 4, 2000.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bronislava Church in Plover with the Rev. Patrick Umberger officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Prutz was born Sept. 21, 1909, in Ontario, Canada, a son of the late Bazil and Anastacia (Pruc) Prutz. He moved to Plover as a young boy and lived in the Plover area most of his life.
He was married to Tekla Kenowski on Nov. 20, 1941, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. She died May 10, 1960.
He was a potato and dairy farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary A. Prutz, Stevens Point, and Rosalie P. (Glen) Jacobson, Blaine, Minn.; two sons, John A. Jr., Plover, and Richard (Sharon), Rockford, Ill.; one brother, Edward (Bernice), Louisiana; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bernard; and four sisters, Anna, Helen, Barbara and Angela.
