George Lloyd Furo, 41, 5178 County Road H, Junction City (town of Eau Pleine), died Saturday, June 24, 2000, in the emergency room at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield as the result of a motorcycle accident earlier in the day.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore with the Rev. John A. Wisneski officiating.
The family will receive family and friends at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the services.
Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home of Junction City is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Furo was born June 1, 1959, in Stevens Point, a son of George E. and Marlene (Fruin) Furo. He attended John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Junction City and Stevens Point Area Senior High School.
He was currently employed at W.E.R. Wrecking Co. of Vesper.
He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore.
Survivors include his parents, Junction City; five sisters, Karen (Joe) Bonstetter, Woodville, Theresa (Mark) Hamus, Auburndale, Rhonda (Merlyn) Reigel, Arpin, Kim (Brian) Simcakoski, Plover, and LeeAnne Furo, Wausau; three brothers, Ronald, Junction City, and Tom (Amy) and John, both of Milladore; his paternal grandmother, Gladys Furo, Junction City; four nieces and four nephews.
