Frank E. Higgins, 58, 4755 Hayes Ave., town of Plover, died Sunday, June 4, 2000.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover with Dean and Darlene Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Meehan Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 5 p.m. Wednesday until the services.
Mr. Higgins was born Oct. 5, 1941, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Jesse and Etta (Parks) Higgins. He attended Grant School and P.J. Jacobs High School.
He was married to Shirley Jurgella on Oct. 8, 1960. That marriage ended in divorce.
He was married to Alice Polum in March 1968. That marriage ended in divorce.
He worked for Okray Family Farms for more than 30 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Robin (Terry) Bauman, town of Kronenwetter (Marathon County), Tammy (Ron) Hintz, Rosholt, and Michelle Higgins, Stevens Point; three sons, Kurt, Wisconsin Rapids, Rick, Stevens Point, and Kevin (Teresa), Amherst; two step-sons, Ron Polum and Todd (Betty) Polum, both of Stevens Point; four brothers, Jesse (Ramona), Kenneth (Shirley), Gale (Peggy) and Gary (Marg), all of Plover; one sister, Lila (James) Roback, Plover; and 20 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
