Naomi P. “Pearl” Bartkowiak, 85, 3200 Water St., died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at River Pines Center.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Thursday at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Kozlowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. There will be a Bible vigil at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Bartkowiak was born Sept. 9, 1914, in Plover, a daughter of the late William and Naomi (Scribner) Kranzusch. She attended local schools and graduated from Emerson High School in 1932.
She was married to Stanley M. Bartkowiak on June 19, 1933, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point. After the marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point. He died April 6, 1991.
She was office manager for Rice Clinic for a number of years and office manager for Drs. Erickson and Jean for more than 30 years. She retired in 1982.
She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, the American Legion Auxiliary of Berens Scribner Post 6, the Point River Club, the Archery Club and the Wisconsin River Golf Club. She recorded a hole-in-one at the Wisconsin River Country Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara (Charles) Franek Bollinger, Wheeling, Ill.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
