Antonette “Loraine” Karch, 96, Milwaukee, a Rosholt native, died Sunday, June 25, 2000.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Schramka-Herrick Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Karch was born Feb. 23, 1904, in Rosholt, a daughter of the late John and Martha (Prondzinski) Gorecki.
She was married to Felix E. Karch on Sept. 13, 1924, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. He died May 16, 1980.
After the marriage they moved to the Arnott area and then to Milwaukee in 1927. In 1960 they purchased a summer home in Rosholt.
Survivors include four sons, Marion “Mike” (Beverly), Colgate, Chester (Eleanor), Stevens Point, LeRoy (Eleanor), Milwaukee, and Lawrence (Doris), Rosholt; two sisters, Josephine Brooks and Irene Bartz, both of Milwaukee; one brother, Florian (Dolores) Gorecki, Rosholt; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jerome and Donald Lee; two brothers, Jack Gorecki and Newphry Gorecki; and four sisters, Marie Jones, Elizabeth Wroblewski, Therese Kugi Kowalski and Cecilia Gorecki.
