Lucy Galganski, 69, Wisconsin Rapids, a Stevens Point native, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center, Plymouth.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. William Menzel officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and at again on Tuesday at the funeral home until 11 a.m. A parish rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Mrs. Galganski was born Dec. 10, 1930, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Frank and Hattie (Wirth) Hytry.
She was married to Leon Galganski on May 13, 1950, in San Francisco, Calif. He died Jan. 13, 1995.
She was a crossing guard in Wisconsin Rapids for many years.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (Gary) Carter, Arkansas, Debra (David) Raupp, Oneida, and Mary Kay (Steve) Grossbier, Spencer; two sons, Robert, Wisconsin Rapids, and Edward, Marshfield; bone brother, Vic Hytry, Stevens Point; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Leo, Butch, Harry, Andrew, Frank, Edmund and Phillip; one sister, Rose Moxon; and two grandchildren.
