Lois “Lulu” Thompson, 55, Shawano, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Pastor Michael Schmalz officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Drive Cemetery in the town of Wescott in Shawano County with Pastor Mark Harris officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until the services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thompson was born Sept. 6, 1944, in Shawano, a daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Wilber) Dobbs.
She was married to Dennis Thompson on April 14, 1972, in Shawano.
She was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Shawano and the Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Kim (Thomas) Mains, Stevens Point, Robin (Tom) Smalley and Penny (Kevin) Matsch, both of Wisconsin Rapids, and Roxanne Allioto and Michelle Thompson, both of Shawano; one son, Michael (Vicky) Kahl, Appleton; one stepson, Jody Thompson, Shawano; two sisters, Beverly (Tony) Fernandez, Keshena, and Cathy (Pete) O’Kimosh, Shawano; two brothers, Galen “Shorty” (Nancy) Dobbs, Shawano, and Tim (Maryanne) Dobbs, Keshena; 12 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
