Helen Fuhs, 81, Fort Pierce, Fla., a Stevens Point native, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Fla.
Private graveside services will be held in Nekoosa at a later date.
Mrs. Fuhs was born Dec. 23, 1918, in Stevens Point a daughter of the late Antone Roeder and Ida (Karsten) Roeder Komasa. She attended local schools and graduated from Emerson High School.
She was married to George Fuhs in Port Edwards in 1940. He died in 1998.
They lived in Port Edwards until retiring to Florida.
Survivors include one son, William (Deanna), Fort Pierce, Fla.; three brothers, Milton Komasa, Sterling, Ill., Andrew Komasa, Dodgeville, and Don (Ruth) Komasa, Stevens Point; and two grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by Antonette Martz, and two brothers, Carl Komasa and Bob Komasa.
