Anton “Tony” S. Riske, 87, 1001 W. Clark St., died late Thursday, May 18, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Al Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday at the church until the services.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Riske was born April 30, 1913, in Stevens Point, a son of the late George and Mary (Kowalski) Riske.
He was married to Elizabeth Browan on Nov. 26, 1977, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was employed for more than 30 years with the Soo Line Railroad until his retirement in 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Stevens Point; one daughter, Nancy Maves, Michigan; one son, Jerry (Kim) Riske, Stevens Point; one stepdaughter, Karen (Don) Kropidlowski, Rosholt; three stepsons, Gene (Mary Jean) Browan, Peoria, Ariz., Joseph Browan, St. Paul, Minn., and James Browan, Milwaukee; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
