Sister Ernesteen Glodowski, 77, a Sister of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis for 60 years, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at St. Joseph Congregational Home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the convent chapel with the Rev. Robert Greatorex officiating. Burial will follow in the convent cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the convent. A vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel.
Memorials may be designated to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 1300 Maria Drive.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Sister Ernesteen Glodowski was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Amherst, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Trzebiatowski) Glodowski.
She was received into the novitiate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis on Aug. 6,1940. She taught school in Wisconsin for 41 years until her retirement at St. Joseph Congregational Home in 1983. In Stevens Point she taught at St. Peter School from 1942 to 1954 and at St. Stanislaus School from 1969 to 1983.
Survivors include one sister, Therese Turzinski, Stevens Point.
