Bertice C. Glodowski, 81, 7950 Adams Lane, Rosholt, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt with the Rev. Marcin Markowski officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. The Sacred Heart Rosary Society, of which she was a member, will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Monday.
Visitation will also be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the services.
Mrs. Glodowski was born Nov. 29, 1918, in the town of Alban, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Sutkey) Simonis. She attended Alban schools and then lived in Evanston, Ill., for 10 years.
She was married to Hubert Glodowski on May 17, 1947, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. They resided at their present address since 1948. He died Jan. 2, 1970.
She was a member of the St. Cecilia Choir at St. Adalbert Catholic Church for more than 32 years.
Survivors include two sons, LeRoy (Theresa) and Bob (Fran), both of Rosholt; one daughter, Louise (Robert) Yach, Rosholt; one sister, Alvina Sikorski, Polonia; two brothers, Erv Simonis, Rosholt, and Mike (Belva) Simonis, Neenah; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
