Phillip Glodowski, 97, formerly of Rosholt, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital. He was a resident of the Portage County Health Care Center for the past two and one-half years.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel and from 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church until the services. The St. Adalbert Men’s Rosary Society will combine with the general rosary at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Glodowski was born Aug. 23, 1902 in the town of Stockton, a son of the late Anton and Cecilia (Cysewski) Glodowski.
He was married to Emily Kosobucki at St. Agnes Church in Milwaukee in June 1932. She died Dec. 12, 1974.
They farmed in the town of Alban for many years.
Survivors include six sons, Anton (Betty), Oregon, Edmund (Irene), Richard (Elaine), Schofield, and Clarence, Robert (Jeanette) and David, all of Rosholt; three daughters, Mary Ann (John) Bigelow, Kaukauna, and Judy (Roger) Kruzicki and Kathleen (Vernon) Kuklinski, both of Rosholt; eight grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-stepgrandchildren.
