Pearl C. Suski, 82, town of Amherst, died Friday, March 3, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary; of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher with the Rev. Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and on Tuesday at the church one hour prior to services. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Suski was born Feb. 25, 1918, in the town of Amherst, a daughter of the late Onufry and Johanna (Buza) Trzebiatowski.
She was married to Miron “Bill” Suski on Nov. 23, 1939, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
She was a cook for the hot lunch program at Tomorrow River Schools in Amherst. She farmed with her husband for several years and also worked at Del Monte Foods in Plover.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Maryann (Herman) Felckowski and Diane Nelson, both of Amherst, Lorraine (Joseph) Glodowski, Custer, and Berdi (special friend Keith Schroeder) Suski, Oshkosh; three sons, Ronald (Maxine), Amherst, Greg (Karen), Stevens Point, and Miron “Pete” (Terri), Amherst; one sister, Anna Suski, Stevens Point; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
