Henry C. Zivney, 87, Milladore, father of two Stevens Point men, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.
A private family service will take place at a later date. Burial will be in Milladore Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated to the House of the Dove in Marshfield.
Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home of Plover assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Zivney was born July 31, 1912, in Milladore, a son of the late Stephen and Marie (Kubash) Zivney.
He was married to Eleanor Mallek in Stevens Point on Jan. 20, 1935. She died Aug. 4, 1982.
He worked as a farmer all his life.
He was the last surviving member and leader of the Little Bohemian Polka Band. He sang with the Central Wisconsin Czech and Slovac Singers.
He also served as caretaker of the Milladore Union Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin (Janet) and Donald, both of Stevens Point; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his special friend, Evelyn Dobbs of Rudolph.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, one son and two sisters.
