Gerald P. Bonney, 69, 1430 N. Torun Road, died Saturday morning, March 4, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church in Plover with the Rev. Richard Bonney, his brother, officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. Wednesday until the service.
Boston Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Bonney was born May 6, 1930, in La Crosse, a son of the late Kenneth and Gladys Bonney.
He was married to Bonnie L. Cook on July 14, 1948, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien.
He was a dairy and food inspector for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture for many years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jim (Susan), Plover, and Bruce (Sue), Stevens Point; one daughter, Jane (Rick) Haligas, Hartford; two brothers, the Rev. Richard (Jean), Linden Station, and Kenneth (Audrey), Wisconsin Rapids; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
