Frank L. Besiada, 89, 524 Frederick St., died early Tuesday morning, March 7, 2000, at River Pines Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Schaller officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. The parish rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Besiada was born Oct. 3, 1910, in Pennsylvania, a son of the late Jacob and Mary Besiada.
He was married to the former Frances Brefczynski on Nov. 30, 1939, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pulaski. She died Nov. 26, 1983.
They moved to the Stevens Point area in 1948. He owned and operated various car dealerships in the area, most recently North Point Motors in Stevens Point. He retired in 1972.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (Joe) Schultz, Stevens Point, and Mary (Bill) Dunahee, Zephyr Hills, Fla.; four sons, Richard (Cheryl), Appleton, and Jerome (Sandy), Norbert (Linda) and James, all of Stevens Point; one brother, Tony Besiada, Milwaukee; one sister, Stella Jierczak, Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Ervin.
