Cameron Liew Leahy, 5, 100 Union St., died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at home after a yearlong battle with a cancerous brain tumor.
Services will be private. His body will be cremated.
Visitation will be at his parents’ home anytime Saturday, March 18, or Sunday, March 19.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Cameron’s name for playground equipment at Jackson Elementary School.
Boston Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Cameron was born April 10, 1994, in Stevens Point, a son of Kevin and Dorothy (Liew) Leahy. He attended preschool at Gesell Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
He was currently in kindergarten at Jackson School where he served as a peer mentor.
Survivors include his parents; one sister, Sabrina, at home; and his grandparents, Francis and Linda Liew, Malaysia, Joan Leahy, Stevens Point, and Frank and Ann Leahy, Stevens Point.
