Selma Strong, 89, 3505 Stanley St., Stevens Point, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. A general rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Strong was born March 5, 1910, in Portage County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Dudzik) Yach.
She was married to Harold Strong on April 25, 1927, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died Oct. 5, 1972.
Survivors include one daughter, Corrine (Robert) Montgomery, Stevens Point; two sons, Richard (Marie), Stevens Point, and Lawrence, town of New Hope; two sisters, Virginia (Alois) Golla, and Ruth (Lawrence) Losinski, both of Stevens Point; one brother, Vilas (Lucille) Yach, Stevens Point; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
