Russell Grubner, 91, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at the Encore Senior Village, Stevens Point, where he had been a resident for the past five years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Graham West officiating. Graveside services will be in the Glen Oaks Cemetery in West Chicago, Ill., at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Grubner was born Oct. 31, 1908, in Maywood, Ill., a son of the late Otto and Barbara (Kabat) Grubner.
He was married to Marie Snell on Sept. 3, 1930, in Geneva Ill. She died July 13, 1965.
He was a heating and cooling contractor in the West Chicago area for many years.
Survivors include three daughters, Lois (Emery) Babcock, Stevens Point; Mary Alice Grubner, Elgin, Ill., and Helen Marie Grubner, Hampshire, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
