Laurie Ann (Fox) Skierka, 38, 3616 Lorraine St., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Convent with the Rev. Thomas Lindner of Newman Parish officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Convent.
A second service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Janesville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Albrect Funeral Home in Edgerton.
The Shuda Funeral Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Skierka was born July 31, 1961, in Janesville, a daughter of Gerard and Mary (Sullivan) Fox.
She graduated from Edgerton High School in 1979 and from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1983 with a degree in fashion merchandising.
She was employed by Northwest Fabrics and Crafts as a manager for many years. A seamstress and crafter, she also displayed and sold her work at craft shows throughout the state.
On Sept. 26, 1992, she was married to William Skierka in Stevens Point.
She played the organ at St. Joseph Parish in Edgerton through high school and college.
She was a member of Newman Parish in Stevens Point and a member of Family Life, Marriage Preparation, Student Suppers and the Arts and Environment committees.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Anthony, Timmy and Jeffrey, all at home; her parents, Edgerton; seven sisters, Janet Fox, Sue Fox, Judy Fox, Karen Fox, Annette Fox, Maureen (Troy) Rusch, and Rose Fox; and one brother, Bill (Sheila) Fox.
