Henry J. Faess, 82, 841 Tanglewood Drive, Plover, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at River Pines Center in Whiting.
A memorial service is being planned in Canada.
Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home of Plover is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Faess was born May 20, 1917, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Carl and Anna (Rumpf) Faess.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was married to Marcella Lindberg on Oct. 23, 1943. She preceded him in death.
He owned a tourist camp in Canada from 1953 until his retirement in 1984.
Survivors include seven daughters, Bonnie (Robert) Rutta, Plover, Nancy (Richard) Czarnecki, Port Washington, Sally (James) Uselding, Cedarburg, Jean (Gary) Cutts, Dryden, Ontario, Marilyn (Chuck) Bongard, Prairie du Sac, Carol (Phil) Nelson, Madison, and Sue (John) Lamb, Madison; one son, Thomas, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
