Evelyn M. Repinski, 92, formerly of 1807 Chestnut Drive, Plover, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital while under the care of Hospice of Portage County. She was a resident of the Portage County Health Care Center for two years.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Umberger officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the services. St. Bronislava Rosary Society, of which she was a member, will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Repinski was born April 26, 1907, in Plover, a daughter of the late John and Ida (Kowalski) Dulek. She attended Morrill School in Plover.
She was married to Clarence Repinski on Oct. 22, 1932, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. He died July 21, 1992.
After the marriage, they lived in Stevens Point for 10 years, finally settling in Plover.
She was a cook for various restaurants in the Stevens Point/Plover area.
Survivors include five sons, Maurice (Bea), Oxford, James (Rosanne), Lodi, Charles (Evelyn), Kenosha, and Richard (Donna) and Robert (Michele), both of Plover; five daughters, Loretta (Leonard) Ganski, Westfield, Margaret (Raymond) Yach, Stevens Point, Althea (David) Gollon, Dodgeville, Mary Nelson, Fredonia, and Shirley (Dan) Hintz, Plover; one brother, Joseph Dulek, Rock Island, Ill.; six sisters, Beatrice Mandry, Wisconsin Rapids, Irene Boyer and Theresa Wachowiak, both of Stevens Point, Angeline (Richard) Garner, Wauwatosa, Isabelle Boyer, Rhinelander, and Hedwig Nienow, Sunrise, Fla.; 33 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and two great-grandchildren.
