Alvina J. Moyer, 81, Stevens Point, died Saturday evening, Feb. 26, 2000, at Friendship Manor in Plover.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Al Burkhardt officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of services.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name would be appreciated to the Hospice of Portage County or to St. Jude’s Shrine.
Mrs. Moyer was born March 11, 1918, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Friday) Ciseski. She attended local schools.
She was married to Felix Moyer on June 28, 1947 in Chicago, Ill. They were later divorced.
She worked for United Airlines for more than 16 years, retiring in 1983.
She was a member of the St. Anne’s Society at St. Joseph Church and the Women of the Moose Chapter 311.
Survivors include numerous cousins and friends.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Michael; one brother, Joseph Frank; and one sister, Agnes Miller.
