Regina “Jean” Helminski, 91, formerly of 2216 Center St., died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at River Pines Center where she have been a resident for the last four years.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel and from 9 a.m. Monday at the church until the services. The St. Stanislaus Rosary Society, of which she was a member, will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
Mrs. Helminski was born Nov. 11, 1908, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lubotsky) Kostuchowski. She attended local schools.
She was employed with Weber and Frost fly factories.
She was married to Edward Helminski on Jan. 31, 1927, in Milwaukee. He died Jan. 6, 1965.
Survivors include two sons, John “Jake” Jean, Stevens Point, and William (Jane), Arbor Vitae; one daughter, Nancy (Robert) Rutkowski; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan; two sisters and three brothers.
