Olive K, Gordee, 86, Riverside Suites, formerly of W. Harding Ave., died there Thursday evening, Jan. 20, 2000. She was also under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Boston Funeral Home with the Rev. Gilbert Halverson officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gordee was born Dec. 6, 1913, in Wausau, a daughter of the late John P. and Josephine Breit. She moved to Junction City with her family and grew up there. She graduated from Stevens Point High School.
She worked for 19 years at Spurgeons.
She was married to Burt L. Gordee on Sept. 23, 1932, in Wisconsin Rapids. He died Dec. 9, 1993.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the North Central Steam Engine Club. She was a volunteer at Madison School in earlier years.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (Ed) Gille, Rockford, Ill., Donna (Carl) Koerner, Twin Lakes, and Jackie (Don) Hertel, Stevens Point; two brothers, Raymond Breit, Wisconsin Rapids, and Jack (Pearl) Breit, Rockford, Ill.; two sisters, Ruth Salzman, Wausau, and Phyllis (Harvey) Mayer, Wisconsin Rapids.
