Margaret McCauley, 90, Clintonville, mother of a Park Ridge woman, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Behling Memorial Home in Clintonville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Rhodes & Beil Funeral Home in Clintonville with the Rev. Janice L. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are preferred to Christ Congregational UCC in Clintonville.
Mrs. McCauley was born Sept. 21, 1909, in Calumet, Mich., a daughter of the late Martin and Harriet (Murphy) Quall.
She was married to George R. McCauley on Sept. 6, 1930, at the family home in Clintonville. He died July 20, 1977.
She served on the Clintonville School Board for 28 years.
She was a charter member and past president of the Clintonville Junior Woman’s Club, was a 50-year member and past president of the Clintonville Woman’s Club and served as president of the 7th District Wisconsin Federation of Woman’s Clubs in 1965-66 and state treasurer in 1967-68.
She was president of the Waupaca County Republican Woman’s Club, receiving the Bovay Award for years of volunteer service to the state party and its candidates.
Survivors include Mary (Donald) Mayek, Park Ridge, and Harriet McCauley, Clintonville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Wesley “Buz;” one sister, Harriet German; one brother, Bertram Quall; and one grandson.
