Mae C. Paukert, 87, 216 Prentice St. N., died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Boston Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Miss Paukert was born April 14, 1912, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Curran) Paukert. She attended St. Stephen elementary school and graduated from Emerson High School.
She worked for a time at Hardware Mutual and later as a seamstress at the Pendergrast Dress Shop.
She was a homemaker and cared for her parents.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Rosary Society.
Survivors include a sister-in-law Florence Paukert, Stevens Point; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, George and Myron; one sister, Ethel Kubisiak; and an infant brother.
