Levi Smith, 58, Black River Falls, a former resident of Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, in Richland Center.
Services were held Friday, Jan. 7, in Black River Falls. Burial was in Blue Wing Cemetery near Tomah. The Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Smith was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Wyeville, a son of the late Paul and Stella (Brown) Smith. He graduated from Tomah High School.
He worked as a welder at Steel King in Stevens Point, retiring as a foreman. He was employed by the Ho-Chunk Nation Division of Natural Resources in Muscoda.
Survivors include three sisters, Sadie Jackson, Tomah, Kate Smith, Duluth, Minn., and Sandra Smith, La Crosse; four brothers, Everett, Tomah, Elgin (Cathy), DeSoto, and John (Virginia) and Norman (Yvonne), both of Black River Falls; and a special friend, Ruby Garvin, Black River Falls.
Besides his parents, a brother, Earl Smith, preceded him in death.
