Ida S. Meltzer, 82, Plover, formerly of New York and Florida, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Willow Bay Elder Services in Plover.
Services were Tuesday at Menorah Chapels in Staten Island, N.Y.
Mrs. Meltzer was born in 1917 in Zareby Koscielne, Poland, a daughter of the late Abraham and Rose (Czyzyk) Schwalberg.
She was married to the late Solomon Meltzer in 1943.
She was a retired school teacher and assistant principal in the New York City school system.
Survivors include one son, Edmund (Cheryl) Meltzer, Stevens Point; one sister, Sylvia (Eugene) Marshall, Austerlitz, N.Y.; and two granddaughters.
