Genevieve M. Barwick, 77, 825 Whiting Ave., died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at the Portage County Health Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Kozlowski officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Boston Funeral Home, where the rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m.
A memorial has been established in her name for the Portage County Health Care Center.
Mrs. Barwick was born May 8, 1922, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Antone and Agnes (Przybylski) Wroblewski. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
She was married to Joseph Barwick on Oct. 7, 1940, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He died Oct. 10, 1991.
Mrs. Barwick was a homemaker and later worked at the Portage County Health Care Center as a nursing assistant. After her retirement, she volunteered at Lincoln Center and the Portage County Health Care Center.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and active in its altar society. She was past president of the Maria High School Parent Teachers Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Gabe) Desorcy, San Antonio, Texas, and Bette Jo (Brad) Britz, Stevens Point; two sons, Jim (Patricia) and Wayne, both of Stevens Point; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard (Grace) Wroblewski, Stevens Point, Robert (Violet) Wroblewski, Shawano, and Tony (Jean) Wroblewski, Rosholt.
One brother and one sister-in-law preceded her in death.
