Fern G. Anger, 93, Merrillan, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at the Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Merrillan with the Rev. William Swan officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Merrillan.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton and at the church on Monday for an hour prior to services.
Mrs. Anger was born July 28, 1906, in the town of Komensky in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Guy and Frances (Antos) Ransom.
She was married to John Anger on Nov. 17, 1926, in Minneapolis. He died Oct. 10, 1986.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene (Paul) Wechsler, Stevens Point; one son, Kenneth (Alice), Eau Claire; three sisters, Blanche Fitzpatrick and Florence Gosch, both of Merrillan, and Vivian Harris, Rockledge, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
