Elizabeth “Betty” Hurley, 75, Milwaukee, a former Stevens Point resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, in Milwaukee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church at 95th Street and Bluemound Road in Milwaukee. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the services.
Mrs. Hurley was born Sept. 21, 1924, a daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Welch) Ritchay.
She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
She was married to the late Dan Hurley.
She worked in the personnel department of the city of Milwaukee and worked previously for the Wisconsin Telephone Co.
She was president of the Ladies Ancient Order of the Hibernian and a member of the Froedert Auxiliary for 14 years, serving as president of the Auxiliary from 1991-1996.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, William.
