Viola E. O’Keefe, 94, formerly of Stevens Point, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, at Marquard Memorial Manor, Watertown.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Kozlowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Boston Funeral Home. The rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m.
Mrs. O’Keefe was born Nov. 3, 1905, in Colby, a daughter of the late Charles and Lena (Orth) Elchlepp. She moved with her family to Phillips and attended school there. She came to Stevens Point in 1923 and worked as a telephone operator.
She was married to Raphael J. O’Keefe on Nov. 26, 1929, at St. Stephen Catholic Church. He died Feb. 17, 1985.
In 1990 she moved to Watertown to be near her son, Richard.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and attended St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown.
Survivors include one son, Richard (Helen) O’Keefe, Watertown; one sister, Rovella Preuss, Pewaukee; and two grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, John W. and Raphael W; one stepsister and three stepbrothers.
