Robert Franklin Redfield, 81, Oshkosh, a former Stevens Point resident, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, in Sebring, Fla.
Funeral services will be Thursday at Morris Funeral Chapel in Sebring.

Mr. Redfield was born March 1, 1918, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Alfred and Theresa Redfield.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 32nd Division. He was a graduate of Northwestern University, Evanston. Ill.
Mr. Redfield was a retired insurance agent. He was a past member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kiwanis Club and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dorothy (Wirkus) Redfield; a son, Joel, New York City; a daughter, Jane (Larry); and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Charles “Pete,” Raymond, John, Willis, Benjamin, F. Otis and William.
