Margaret B. Strong, 93, Portage County Health Care Center, died there Friday, Dec. 17, 1999.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Shuda Funeral Chapel. St. Stanislaus Rosary Society, of which she was a member, will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m.
A memorial in her name has been established to the Shrine of St. Jude.
Mrs. Strong was born Oct. 2, 1906, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Okray) Weiss.
She graduated from Emerson High School.
She was married to Forest Strong on July 6, 1925. He died May 17, 1986.
She was a volunteer at Lincoln Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Strong, Stevens Point, and Charlene (Lee) Moyer, Rosholt; four sons, Harold (Betty) Strong, Stevens Point, Joseph (Jean), Cape Coral, Fla., John (Pirette), Plover, and James (Joan), Knowlton; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Carl; one brother and one sister.
