Margaret A. Konitzer, 52, 2040 Oak St., died at home Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, while under the care of her family, her longtime companion, Philip Brezinski, and Hospice of Portage County.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shuda Funeral Chapel.
Ms. Konitzer was born Jan. 8, 1947, in the town of Linwood, a daughter of Walter Konitzer, Stevens Point, and the late Elizabeth (Pearman) Konitzer.
She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1965 and obtained a degree as a dietetic technician in 1983 at Mid-State Technical College.
She co-managed a local automobile dealership and a Wittenberg pub. She was also employed for several years at two local restaurants.
Survivors besides her father and her companion include one son, Todd (Kari) Worzella, Knowlton; one daughter, Tammy Worzella, Stevens Point, three sisters, Jeanne Eiden, Evanston, Wyo., Dee Fuerstenberg, Stevens Point, and Karen Rutynowski, Tucson, Ariz.; a foster mother, Shirley Cooper, Stevens Point.
