Lenore C. Leyer, 81, a former Stevens Point resident, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, in Olathe, Kan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of services.
Shuda Funeral Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Leyer was born Feb. 28, 1918, in Chippewa Falls, a daughter of the late Joseph and Matilda (Lavigne) Whittman.
She was married to William Leyer on July 27, 1940, in Stevens Point. He died Jan. 26, 1973.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna (Arthur) Shurling, Olathe, Kan.; one sister, Elaine Isherwood, Stevens Point; one grandchild; and five great-grandchildren.
