Jean A. Kaminski, 55, 1109 Main St., Junction City, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at home while under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
A private funeral service will be held on Sunday evening.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover.
Mrs. Kaminski was born July 22, 1944, in Marshfield, a daughter of the late Harold and Edna (Urban) Wilkins.
She was married to Henry Kaminski on April 22, 1970, in Rockford, Ill.
She was employed as a school bus driver for the Stevens Point School District for 10 years.
She was a past president of the Parent Teacher Association at John F. Kennedy School in Junction City, a room mother for five years, a 4-H helper for three years, children’s play director for KAT at Kennedy School for 14 years and a member of MMAD for three years, Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater for 12 years, Pyro Guild International (PGI), Plover/Whiting Lions Club and the Wisconsin River Veterans of Foreign Wars drill team.
Survivors include her husband, Junction City; two daughters, Melissa (Jon Saunders) Kaminski, Junction City, and Michelle McFarland Kaminski, Madison; one son, Frank (Laura), Oakdale, Calif.; one sister, Ellen (Tom) Sachs; and two grandchildren.
