Janet Storch, 85, 988 Main St., Junction City, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at the Portage County Health Care Center.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Junction City with the Rev. John A. Wisneski officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Junction City.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home in Junction City and from 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the services. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The family will establish a memorial fun for St. Michael Catholic Church.
Mrs. Storch was born July 10, 1914, in Medford, a daughter of the late Rudolph and Anna (Wilcek) Gallistel.
After attending high school until the 11th grade, she moved to Chicago, where she worked.
She was married to Galen Storch on July 31, 1940, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Athens. He died April 23, 1993.
After their marriage, they lived in Stetsonville for a short time and then moved to Junction City. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael’s Altar Society and the Blue Army Society.
Survivors include three daughters, Jana (Mike) Moran, Rudolph, Diane Shuda, Stevens Point, and Marilyn (Ernest) Piesik, Stevens Point; one sister, Ella Belz, Harrisburg, Ore.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
