Estelle Roseth, 71, 1809 Welsby Ave., died Friday morning, Dec. 17, 1999, at home after a lengthy illness while under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Boston Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the services. St. Anne’s Society will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Monday.
A memorial will be established in her name at a later date.
Mrs. Roseth was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Ray and Esther Clark. After she graduated from high school in Stevens Point, she worked for Sentry Insurance, retiring after 40 years of service.
She was married to John L. Roseth on April 21, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He died July 30, 1991.
She was an active member of St. Joseph Parish, a member and past president of St. Anne’s Society and a tireless volunteer for many community organizations and committees.
Survivors include one sister, Virginia Larson, Oconomowoc; and one brother, James (Virginia) Clark, Stevens Point.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Shannon; and one brother, Donald Clark.
