Edward Heller, 86, Encore Senior Villa, Stevens Point, a former resident of the town of Cranmoor (Wood County), died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at the villa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids with the Rev. John Swing officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. Saturday until the services.
Mr. Heller was born Nov. 20, 1913, in Vesper, a son of the late John and Mary Heller.
He was married to Lois Dempze. After she died, he was married to Virginia Miranda.
He worked at Gaynor Cranberry Co. in the town of Cranmoor for more than 50 years.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles (Marilyn), Kenosha, and Ron (Diane) and George (JoAnn), both of Wisconsin Rapids; two daughters, Dorothy (Rudolph) Omania, Concord, Calif., and Lori (Tim Brost) Erickson, Wisconsin Rapids; one stepson, Charles Miranda, Madison; one brother, Leonard (Viola), Vesper; three sisters, Norma Marth, Auburndale, Lucille Pegalow, Wisconsin Rapids, and Florence Kastler, Chicago; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, John.
