Dorothy E. Boyer, 83, formerly of 440 Indiana Ave., died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, at Portage County Health Care Center, where she had been a resident for the past month.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation was Monday at Shuda Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Boyer was born Feb. 26, 1916, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Maleck) Strike.
She graduated from Emerson High School.
She was married to Edward Boyer on Sept. 17, 1938, at St. Peter Catholic Church. He died April 6, 1994.
She was a homemaker.
She was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Survivors include three sons, James, Stevens Point, Robert (Pat), Baraboo, and Paul (fiancee Darlene Busa), Stevens Point; one daughter, Kathleen (Louis) Retzki, Stevens Point; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
